Our History

• 1981: Ideas International is founded as an IT consultancy in Sydney, Australia .
• 1986: IDEAS begins competitive research on computer systems.
• 1989: IDEAS opens an office in the UK.
• 1990: IDEAS launches an online version of Competitive Profiles.
• 1999: IDEAS releases the CPStorage and CPService modules of Competitive Profiles.
• 2000: IDEAS opens an office in the US.
• 2001: Ideas International Limited is floated on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:IDE).
• 2004: IDEAS acquires the related research interests of D.H. Brown Associates, Inc., a long-established US-based provider of research and advisory services.
• 2008: IDEAS launches an online version of Server CAR (Consolidation Analysis Resource).
