Ideas International Announces Record Annual Revenue Result and Improved Profit Outcome

Leading Australian-based global IT research firm, Ideas International Limited (ASX: IDE), today announced it’s full year financial results for the period ending 31 December 2006.

Ideas International reported annual revenue for the 2006 year of $7.37 million, which is up by 5.9 percent when compared to the $6.96 million of the equivalent calendar period in 2005. This is a new record annual revenue result for the company.

The consolidated profit of the economic entity after providing for income tax amounted to $45,218 for the year to 31 December 2006. This represents a $192,580 or 130.7 percent improvement on the after tax loss for the year to 31 December 2005 of $147,362.

Operating expenses of the company decreased by 3.8 percent in 2006 versus the prior year.

“We are encouraged with our return to profitability and happy with many of the underlying trends reflected in our 2006 results,” said Ian Birks, Managing Director of Ideas International. “The value of our bookings, which include unearned income, also rose ahead of revenue growth with a 9 percent increase in 2006. We are confident that we can continue to build on the 2006 year-end position with further improvement in our financial outcomes in 2007.”
